Worry about exams, not tuition! In addition to the aid you receive from completing the FAFSA, San Jac offers many types of financial aid for students including grants, scholarships, and student loans. Explore your options and make college affordable for you.

Loans

This program allows students to borrow loan funds directly from the federal government. You will need to complete entrance counseling and sign a master promissory note with the Direct Loan program. Interest rates vary depending on the type of loan and disbursement date. Please visit studentaid.gov for more information on rates.

Child Care Assistance

Do you need help paying for child care? We offer two grant programs to help alleviate this cost. Check back each semester to find out how to apply for Child Care Assistance.
Work Study Student

Work Study

Earn up to $7,000 by working part-time on campus! We offer both federal and state work-study programs. Are you interested? Learn more!

College Financing Plan (CFP)

The College Financing Plan (CFP) is an easy to read form that enables you to compare institutions in terms of grant, scholarship offer amounts, student work, loan options and other financial assistant options. Texas Exemptions

Texas offers various programs that exempt or waive higher education costs for residents. If eligible, these programs will allow you to attend a public college or university without paying tuition. In some cases, it waives both tuition and fees. Certain nonresidents may also be able to enroll and pay a reduced tuition rate through waivers. Learn more about exemptions:
