We make it easy for you to move into the next phase of your educational career. There are three ways to request your transcripts from San Jacinto College.
To offer more ways to send your transcript, we’ve partnered with Parchment, a digital credential service. They can deliver your transcripts electronically with a secure PDF, or by U.S. Mail.
Parchment charges $5 - 7 plus additional fees for transcripts. However, it ensures
faster delivery, even over holidays and weekends, and you can track your delivery.
Many professional application services (such as LSAC, AMCAS, SOPHAS, NursingCAS, etc.)
now accept PDF transcripts from Parchment. You will simply need to add your application
ID number instead of attaching a form.
Please note there may be a delay if you have any holds on your account that prevent
the release of transcripts. Transcripts will not be released by us until holds are
cleared. To check on holds, please call the Contact Center at 281-998-6150 or use
the webpage chat.

You can order transcripts through San Jac for free through your SOS account. If your next college or university is an EDI/Speede participant, we can send your transcript electronically. Otherwise, all transcripts are sent through U.S. Mail, so please remember there may be a delay in delivery, especially over holidays and weekends.
If you don’t know your SOS login information, you will need to use the paper transcript request form. Please be sure to read the instructions on this form. You will need to include your picture identification with the request.
We do not email or fax transcripts and transcripts will not be sent if there is a
hold on your account.
This method is to be used in emergency situations only. We prefer you request transcripts through Parchment or your SOS account.
In the event an official transcript is needed urgently, students can visit the Admissions Office to make the request and get a sealed copy. This method is reserved for extenuating circumstances. Transcripts will not be released if there’s a hold on your account.
If you need to submit your transcript in order to attend San Jac, visit our How to Submit Official Transcripts page for instructions.
